Great tutorial. I lost you at the "extending back" section, but I'll be watching this again -- and again some more. Thanks.
❤
Add sustain Inversion Single notes Octaves, if you wanna be bass sounding Add the sixth(?) Pewpowpewpow Pickup "a-one, a-three" on the left hand First note pam pam next note pam pam (octaves) Playing four notes (double the first note) Do the pew pew pew Arpeggiating (?) Like a guitar First note to the first note different octave 1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 instead of 34 Changing the top note and using the same notes of the scale being used (in this case walking down the c major scale)
kind of advance for me...................... but i love it, thanks Sir
very nice!
I like this!!! Please do more!!! 🤗
I just play around on the piano when songwriting; can't read notes so play by ear. Videos like this inspire me to practice more... Thank you!
Good stuff!!!
Such a nice teacher we could ever find on a UA-cam video .. 👍❤
Strong work! 🎉
You are an outstanding teacher❗️
Go hug your parents for giving you the chance to learn and be so expert. I am sure they sacrificed for you to have lessons and music. I wish I had your skill, you make it look easy.
Those who wish can achieve by putting in the time and effort to reach their goal. It's not too late until your last breath.
Fantastic.Love the chromatic passers !
Thanks sir
How did you manage to use Beatles number without copyright strike, I’m impressed. And surprised. …well done
Remarkable
Wonderful lesson on transitions. And absolutely beautiful playing. Also realized I have been misnaming many of these chords. Eg f# dim, ive been calling it a D7 augmented.
Wow! This is one of the best tutorials I’ve watched ❤ Very informative and instructions and explanations are so clear and easy to follow. I love all the analogy to the guitar, even drums. Wonderful!!! Subscribed right away 👏👏👏
Thank you Ted!..🤍 God bless you more!
There is a lot of good info in this video, but using the sustain petal is going to take some practice, because I use my foot to keep the beat while playing guitar.
This might be a skosh over my playing ability, which, admittedly, isn't saying much, but it was very thoughtfully laid out, easy to listen to (very important) and will be useful when I can drag myself up a notch or two. Thanks.
Subscribed.
Thank you for this video. This is the best video I’ve seen on passing chords. I especially liked the extending back portion. Really gives freedom and ideas for my own playing
This is an outstanding lesson! Thank you 🙏
Great Lesson. I am a guitar player, and I will use these concepts in my playing.
What I've been looking for! 💖 Do you have rhythms for fast paced songs?
Molto interessante. Grazie davvero.
That is an absolutely brilliant lesson. Will be referring back again and again. Thanks so much
This is so massively helpful. Thank you for making this.
Thank you, Sir!🥰
Great lesson there , sir , so many useful concepts there , Thanks a lot , from South Sudan .
I learning this song by ear and felt i had sussed it was in e flat major.. did the whole number thing, the melody was 6 1 3 4 3, and ive done half of the song and suddenly had a thought that the first note is C, and does that possibly mean its in C minor rather than E flat M,,, now obviously it sounds the same, but if it is C minor all the numbers are wrong, does this matter at all? ❤
It's just.. mesmerising 😁
Fantastic tutorial. Beautifully explained. 😊
Good stuff… I struggle with dominate chords. Now I need to apply this to every key. This may take awhile without a pdf of some sort. Good stuff though. Thanks
hi am from sri lanka i like to play keyboard but i cant understana pls send me chord sheet
This video is underrated. Like this was genuinely cool to watch.
These are all concepts I already employ, but I still love watching videos about them, and really have to commend you on your teaching style. Very short and to the point, I made sure this with some friends that are getting into passing chords.
excellent!!!!
Amazing video! Love your content and a huge thanks for providing us such detailed guidelines! :)
The best explanation of tritone subs!👍🏼
This s🦅ong
Very good lesson , thank you for sharing
Great coverage of a complex subject. You explained each technique in an easy to understand way. Well done !
Did you know the Bible says “the gift of God is eternal life” (Rom. 6:23)? To understand this, answer these questions: Have you ever lied, stolen, or used God’s name in vain? Jesus said, “Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” If you have done these things, God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart, and He will punish you in a terrible place called Hell. But He is not willing that any should perish. Sinners broke God’s Law but here’s the gospel (good news)-Jesus paid their fine. This means their case can be dismissed: “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Then Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death. Today, repent and trust Jesus, and God will give you eternal life. Then read the Bible daily and obey it. God will never fail you.
❤❤
Bro thank you for helping out the musicians who are really dedicated to improvement with this super helpful knowledge 🙏🏽 time to go practice
Very straightforward and understandable workshop for passing chords. Thank you!
Use solfeggio as an alternate approach you're familiar with it.
More swing, please! 👏♥️
Watched this video and remembered how much I love trying to find chords and playing by ear and here it is 4 AM and I’m still on that 😅
